All Things Drawn

Let’s face it…every painting is only as good as the drawing behind it.  When you sketch or draw, you improve your hand-eye coordination, you notice new details that make your subject more accurate or compelling, or you may even see something in an original way and expand your technique.  Drawing is paying attention! – it puts you in the moment and educates your eye. Often it even inspires your next finished painting.

We’re celebrating the power (and beauty) of drawing in this online show: It’s completely devoted to drawings, from sketchbook doodles to finished, line-drawn works of art.  This show encompasses thought processes, finished drawings, portraits – both finished works, and preliminary studies.  Mediums include: graphite (pencil), charcoal, ink, scratchboard, silverpoint, pastel (or anything we’ve missed).

ENJOY!!
