Titanium White,Cobalt Blue, Dioxazine Purple and Burnt Sienna I used these colors because my one go to color is always starting with a purple under wash. Then I knew by mixing Burnt Sienna and blue I would get a lovely dark (not black) for shadows. The Cobalt blue I needed for blue jeans and shirt with added white for lightest lights. The Burnt Sienna was used for the Sorrel color of the horse, sometimes mixed with blue and purple, sometimes mixed with white. It was indeed a challenge! I ended up mixing colors more than I usually would to get gradual changes in shadows and light. Fun and exciting challenge!
