Ultramarine Blue - Indian Red - Yellow Ochre - White I chose these colors because I wanted a muted, almost monochromatic tone for this woodland scene. I wanted the horse and rider to pop out of their "nest" in the woods. It was wonderful fun to achieve a chestnut horse and "pinque" coat without my usual cadmium red and cadmium yellow.
