Artist Comments
Ultramarine Blue/Quinacridone Rose/Yellow Ochre. I toned my canvas with Quinacridone Rose - bits of it showing through will warm up the painting and contrast with the greens, and mixed with the greens, it grays them down, preventing them from being too intense. Yellow Ochre in place of brighter yellow makes more toned-down, less intense, greens. Ultramarine Blue because it's a good blue for most paintings. I learned to make my greens less intense, yet readable. I'll probably use this palette often.
